Starting a new round of indigo-dyed cloth for wearable and other work.
Found this #anole outside on my studio window ledge, alas fatally injured and transitioning to dust, vine tendril still wrapped around its leg. I moved it to this leaf to photograph and its color change was even more apparent. Disappeared from the leaf later, presumably still fresh enough to nourish another creature. Assume it is a #greenanole which are now more prevalent here - north of the Georgia fall line - and often slip into my studio for a visit. 🌀
Wall. Images taken, sketches rendered, work made, bits collected. Building energy around new work and keeping the well filled.🌀
Working towards completion of this piece...almost there.

Back home and back to work but still thinking about beautiful Guanajuato, its surrounding wilds, and friends (old and new) there. I have been to this City many times but there is always more to experience, learn, and love. I look forward to returning as soon as I can!
Some views from Guanajuato City 🫶🏼☀️🌸
Down south.☀️☀️☀️
Between wearable projects, more pigment exploration. Indigo, ink, gold leaf (detail)
